Hi guys! Hope everyone is enjoying they’re weekend. I’ve been back in the states for a week and I get a long weekend this weekend so I’m in a good mood ❤️
I know this foundation isn’t hot news anymore but I want to review it, so I’m gonna review it 🤷🏻♀️
I bought the shade porcelain which honestly is a little to light but I can make it work.
It’s pretty full coverage on my skin with one application and it’s buildable which I like. I can’t find where it claims it be full coverage or matte but that’s what I would call it.
When it comes to longevity I think it’s okay. Again I don’t see it’s claims saying it’s supposed to be a long wear foundation but I would say it’s about an 8 hour wear on my skin. It breaks apart a little on me throughout the day.
Now let me talk about it being matte. It is way to matte for my skin. If I hydrate right before, use a hydrating primer and a lot of setting spray I can make this work. But I also have to use a good conclear, I usually just use tarte shape tape. Now that’s a lot of work to make a foundation to look good but I have dry skin and there’s nothing I can do about it. During the summer I think this would be okay, but this shade would not haha.
Here’s some pictures of me wearing it. You can see it looks a little cakey around my mouth as that’s a really dry area for me.
It claims to look good in all light, and I would agree with that. Of course the first 3 are natural light but the first two it’s been very grey out. And of course there’s some restaurant light for ya as well from my friends snap.
On a rating from 1-10 I would give this a 6.5. It has good coverage even thought I’m more of medium coverage girl. It does look good in all lighting at those are its claims. I wish it lasted a little longer on my skin and wasn’t a pain to apply.
If you’re needing a foundation for pictures this might be if! And hey it’s only 6 dollars! So I can’t say to many bad things.
Thanks for reading 😊
